KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — UPDATE (4/15): The Knoxville Police Department said Tiara Shelton, who was wanted for custodial interference, has turned herself in.

Shelton didn't appear in court on Tuesday, April 9, for a hearing concerning her children. Instead, she went to a house where two of her children were staying in temporary care through DCS with a family friend, according to a warrant.

Shelton convinced the friend that the judge had given her custody of her children back. Once the friend realized what happened, they called law enforcement, the warrant states.

An Endangered Child Alert was issued for Shelton's 23-month-old and 4-year-old at first. Later on, her 17-year-old left the family friend's house and was added to the alert, according to the warrant.

Shelton was in contact with members of KPD's Violent Crimes Unit who encouraged her to return the children back to DCS, but she refused, the warrant states.

The 23-month-old and the 4-year-old were located on Saturday. Her 17-year-old son remains missing, according to KPD.

Jaisy Hollins and Joshua Hollins Jr. have been found safe. Knoxville Police says the endangered child alert is canceled.

Detectives with KPD are continuing their investigation into Tiara Shelton and her 17-year-old son Raymond. They are in communication with the family at this time.

An Endangered Child Alert has been issued by the Knoxville Police Department for three missing children, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

Originally, the alert was only issued for missing 23-month-old Jaisy Hollins and 4-year-old Joshua Hollins Jr. Later, KPD said it learned that 17-year-old Raymond was also taken from DCS custody Tuesday night.

KPD believes Jaisy and Joshua were last seen in the Oakwood-Lincoln Park area Tuesday night when their non-custodial mother, Tiara Shelton, took them from DCS custody.

Shelton is wanted by KPD for custodial interference, TBI said.

If you see Josh, Jaisy, Raymond or Tiana, call 911. This is a developing story.
