KCS: Knox County Schools to close Monday

KCS says they are taking the day to prepare staff and administration to comply with the recent federal order before welcoming back students on Tuesday.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Knox County Schools will be closed on Monday, Sept. 27. 

According to KCS, Knox County Schools will be taking the day to prepare administration and staff to comply with a recent federal order requiring masks for all students, staff and visitors when indoors at our facilities.

KCS schools will reopen on Tuesday.
