Lady Vols guard Jazmine Massengill enters transfer portal

Jazmine Massengill announced on Twitter that she intends to transfer after two seasons at Tennessee.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Lady Vols basketball program will lose one of its starters from the 2019-20 season. Guard Jazmine Massengill is entering the transfer portal, after two season at Tennessee. She announced the decision on Twitter on Tuesday night. 

Massengill started 30 games this season, averaging 6.5 points per game. She scored a career-high 16 points against Colorado State last December. The sophomore grabbed career-high 13 rebounds against Notre Dame in November. 

The Chattanooga native was a McDonald's All-American coming out of Hamilton Heights Christian Academy. She was the first Lady Vol basketball player from Chattanooga.
