ROANE COUNTY, Tenn. — Earlier this month, a federal bankruptcy judge ordered Noah's Event Venue to close its remaining reception halls, including the one in Roane County.
On Saturday night, multiple viewers reached out to 10News about why events are still taking place at 1200 Ladd Landing Blvd in Kingston, where Noah's Event Venue was ordered to shut down.
"The Noah’s parking lot has been packed with people for the last 2 days," one bride wrote. "This is so wrong!! My family has lost thousands of dollars and have yet to be contacted by the owners."
Court documents show that the bride had paid more than $4,000 to Noah's Event Venue before they shut down. She said she does not know whether she will be able to get that money back.
In an email to clients on Feb. 10, Noah's Event venue wrote that "many building owners are willing to host events and are looking for new operators that can honor your event contracts."
Lindsay Ruggieri, co-owner and chief content officer of The Bride Link, said she is working with new management to see how they can make that happen.

She confirmed that two events were held at the Roane County location as planned on Feb. 20 and Feb. 22.
Ruggieri said there are no events scheduled there for March, but that the new management will be reaching out to couples scheduled for weddings in April soon.
Ruggieri said a court decision expected around the end of March will determine how the rebranded venue in Roane County can proceed in the long-term, but that affected brides will be "given the first option" of having their wedding at 1200 Ladd Landing Blvd in Kingston.
In the meantime, she suggested brides contact their credit card companies to report a fraudulent charge and see if they can get a refund.
Ruggieri said there were 36 weddings scheduled at the Kingston location. Two of them were held this week and three have already decided to move locations.
