Knoxville, Tenn. — The Knoxville Police Department’s Safety City is ringing in the holiday season with its first “A Safety City Christmas.”

Families can walk through the miniature city enjoying the decorated buildings while looking for that perfect spot to take their Christmas card photos. Games, crafts, and holiday music will be just some of the activities that children of all ages can enjoy. We have even received word that Santa will make a special appearance!

The event will be held on Saturday, Dec. 8 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. It is free to the public.

Safety City will also be open on Dec. 11, 13, 18 and 20 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. for families to enjoy the miniature city decorated for the holidays.
