Knox Asian Fest welcomes food truck park for its fifth year this Sunday

The Knox Asian Festival will make its return on Sunday, Aug. 26, to promote diverse cuisine and culture in the greater Knoxville area.

Knox Asian Festival is less than a week away! This Sunday, the festival will celebrate its fifth year in Market Square from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m.

The festival will welcome different cuisines from Indonesia, Taiwan, Korea, China and many more places. Diverse musical performances will also happen all throughout the day.

This year, the Knox Asian Festival will have an additional large stage for performances in downtown as well as a food truck park welcoming some tasty Asian cuisine.

According to the Knox Asian Festival's Facebook page, the festival is meant to bring together all people from "various cultural backgrounds" and to "promote peace, harmony, unity and a healthy life."

Admission to the event is free.
