Knoxville — An unnamed motorist was arrested Wednesday afternoon after he struck three Knox County Sheriff's Office cruisers in a North Knox County chase, authorities said.

No one was injured.

The incident began about noon Wednesday.

"When the officer arrived, the suspect jumped into a car and hit the deputy’s vehicle," according to the Sheriff's Office.

The suspect drove on. He ended up striking the cars of two other deputies, according to the office.
