Blackhorse Brewery opening third brewing facility in Alcoa

This is one for beer lovers! The Blackhorse Brewery will be opening up a new brewing facility in the city of Alcoa hopefully by late August to early September.

The Blackhorse Brewery announced on Monday it'll be opening a third location in the city of Alcoa.

The brewery says it will renovate the former city of Alcoa garage that's located at the corner of Hall Road and Bessemer Street as its newest facility. According to the release, the brewery is hopeful the new location will be the primary brewery for production and distribution of beers.

The owners also says they'll work to preserve the building they begin distribution in as well.

"It is our goal to save the historic character of the building while putting it into use as a brewery that we hopes becomes part of the fabric of the Alcoa community," Jeff Robinson, one of the owners of the Blackhorse Brewery, said in a release. "We think it's really cool that our canned beer sales are driving the need to expand our production and the aluminum for those cans comes from Alcoa."
